Intervention is a process friends, family members, and a professional interventionist undertake.  The ultimate goal is to persuade the drug addict or alcoholic to enter into some form of drug treatment center.  The process is not long normally lasting around 2 hours.  After the intervention your loved one is taken directly to a treatment center in order to begin recovery.

Drug Rehab
Drug rehab is a term given to treatment centers that offer counseling, monitoring, support for those addicted to alcohol and drugs.  Normally a drug rehab program last approximately 30 days and includes: group counseling, one on one counseling, therapy sessions, recreation, anger management, and much more all geared to bring about recovery from drug and alcohol dependence.
